Sliema is connected by Tower Road on the open sea side and The Strand on the Marsamxett Harbour side facing Valletta. Traffic moves along a one-way system through the commercial centre. Keep right of the ferries when driving along The Strand towards Gżira and Ta’ Xbiex.
Sliema has high parking demand in summer. Look for White parking bays along Tower Road and Qui-Si-Sana. Avoid Green bays which are strictly reserved for Sliema residents 24 hours a day. Paid parking is available at The Point Shopping Mall car park and Tigné Point.
